Position: Web developer / Designer / UX Pioneer [1]

Open Until: June 16, 2013

Working in the same technical environment as the PHP developer listed above, your area of responsibility will be the User Experience. You will be the go-to person on the team for layouts, designs, and usability.

From creating an original design for a new client websites one day to setting up a tricky piece of CSS or JavaScript the next, there is never a dull moment in this role.

We aim to be awesome, and as everyone knows the user experience is critical to achieving that!

Major Responsibilities:

Your regular work will include, but not be limited to, Graphic Design, HTML/CSS template coding (to W3C standards), JavaScript, xHTML/CSS. A strong focus on Responsive Design using Bootstrap and other frameworks, always with the ability to work with and understand code.

Qualifications:

University Degree or college diploma in Design, Usability, Web Development or related field
Experience with: hand-coding validated HTML templates, Mobile and Responsive design, JavaScript, PHP
Experience with PHP and JavaScript Frameworks an asset
Strong team player, work well with others in a collaborative environment
Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects with compressed timelines
Self-directed worker able to deliver tested, bug free code to schedule
Strong English communication skills, French an asset
Willingness to learn new skills and emerging tools
