Position: Wine Rack Store Manager - Stouffville [1]

The STORE MANAGER role is responsible for maximizing sales and ensuring the effective operation of all store activities. The position further provides sales leadership to employees and serves to project the company's image through both excellent customer service and strong visual presentation techniques. The planning and development of a committed and well trained staff is top priority for this position and is focused on all aspects of store procedures. The role is responsible for maximizing sales and ensuring the effective operation of all store activities.

Job Requirements :

To fulfill this role Wine Rack is looking for a dynamic individual who has the following skills:

Two years plus current management experience in the Retail trade
Two years plus current people management experience including recruitment, coaching and performance management
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
Strong selling and presentation skills Strong merchandising and analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Highly organized, self-motivated and ability to work without supervision
A passion for Wine
Post secondary education
Computer skills an asset (i.e.: MS Excel, Word, Power Point, POS terminal, Internet, Outlook).
