| Description: We were known as Newman Concepts in Dance for many years, but three years ago we changed our name to the Stouffville Academy of Music and Dance to reflect the changes in our business. We now have a full offering of both music and dance lessons. Since its inception in 1993, Stouffville Academy of Music and Dance has been setting the standard of dance education in Stouffville. By providing students with the highest quality dance instruction in a creatively inspired and friendly environment, Stouffville Academy of Music and Dance continues to set itself apart from its competition. Ms. Newman is one of the relatively few practicing dance teachers with a masters degree in Dance, specializing in Dance Pedagogy and Dance Injury prevention. Her education is combined with over twenty years of practical experience in dance instruction, including thirteen years as the studio owner. She is the most highly qualified dance teacher in Stouffville and surrounding area. Her faculty members are also highly qualified, with post secondary dance qualifications and relevant professional and teaching experience. As the largest dance facility in Stouffville, Stouffville Academy of Music and Dance remains located and committed exclusively to its hometown.
