Anne Pride has been a proud Stouffville resident for 24 years. Married to husband Sandy for 38 years, they have been blessed with 2 sons, two daughter-in-laws, and a beautiful granddaughter.

A FEW WORDS FROM ANNE:

I believe a very important issue in this election will be the lack of controlled spending the current council has shown. Over the past 4 years, our town has been put into unbelievable debt. This must stop. As a successful business owner I know the importance of a balanced budget, and as your elected Ward 4 Councilor, I would ensure that working towards a balanced budget remains a topmost priority.

A major part of controlled spending is to invest intelligently in projects that enrich or improve the lives of residents. Within Ward 4 I would like to see sidewalks installed on Elm Road for the safety of our school children, the repairs on Rupert Ave to be completed, beautification of our town entrance to welcome visitor and guests, and the straightening of 9th line with as little inconvenience as possible. I have always been involved in my community and given 100% to the town I call home. As your Ward 4 Council member, I promise to listen to your issues and return all inquiries within 24hrs. I will do my very best to represent you and the issues of Ward 4 to the best of my abilities, and will continue to give 100% for my community.
