| Description: Markham Irish Rugby Club Summer Camp Markham Irish Rugby Club will be hosting a summer rugby camp for boys and girls aged 6-14 years old of all abilities. From 6 to 10 years old all rugby is tag and non-contact. The camp runs from 9 am- 4 pm by national and provincial players that are also NCCP qualified coaches. The camp is made up of fun games and activities aimed to develop the camper’s core skills and to help build their confidence on and off the pitch. All abilities are welcome from the camper that has never played to the elite rugby player. Those attending will work closely in groups of the same or similar age, covering all rugby aspects and content specific to their needs. - player development - individual skills - team strategy - fitness and nutrition - fun games and activities - camp tournament Mission: To provide a fun learning environment for the campers and to help further their knowledge of the game of rugby and in doing so increase their skills. A great emphasis will be placed on teamwork as well as being a leader. Location: Markham Irish Rugby Clubhouse at 50 Austin Drive When: July 14-22 and August 22-26 Time: From 9 am to 4 pm Cost: $199 for club members (campers that are registered players with any club in Canada) and $239 for non members (campers that are not registered with a rugby camp) Each camper receives a free t shirt and sport water bottle with registration. | |||||
